Mindray MPM (Multi-Parameter) Module for T seriese Patient monitor

April 13, 2026

The Mindray MPM (Multi-Parameter) Module is a core integrated monitoring module designed for Mindray’s BeneVision series of patient bedside monitors, widely used in ICUs, CCUs, operating rooms, emergency departments and general wards. Its core functions are as follows:

  1. Core Multi-Parameter Vital Sign Monitoring

As an all-in-one compact base module, it integrates mainstream vital sign monitoring capabilities to meet routine clinical needs:

    • ECG Monitoring: Supports 3-lead, 5-lead and optional 12-lead ECG configurations, with automatic arrhythmia recognition, real-time ST-segment and QT interval tracking. It is equipped with professional anti-electromagnetic interference technology to maintain accurate readings even in environments with interference from surgical electric devices, helping clinicians detect early myocardial ischemia and cardiac abnormalities.
    • Respiratory Monitoring: Uses the impedance method to measure respiratory rate and generate real-time respiratory waveforms, with automatic apnea detection and alerting, supporting continuous respiratory status assessment for sedated, anesthetized or respiratory-impaired patients.
    • SpO₂ (Pulse Oxygen Saturation) Monitoring: Built on Mindray’s proprietary anti-motion and low-perfusion algorithm, it delivers accurate SpO₂ and pulse rate readings even for restless patients or patients with weak peripheral circulation (such as shock patients and neonates), greatly reducing reading errors caused by body movement or low perfusion.
    • Blood Pressure Monitoring: Supports both automatic non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) (with adjustable measurement intervals and historical data recording) and multi-channel invasive blood pressure (IBP) continuous monitoring, meeting the needs of both routine ward monitoring and continuous critical care blood pressure tracking.
    • Temperature Monitoring: Supports dual-channel temperature measurement, which can simultaneously monitor core body temperature and skin temperature, and calculate temperature difference, which is suitable for intraoperative temperature management and targeted hypothermia therapy.
  2. Intelligent Clinical Auxiliary Functions

    • Smart Alarm Management: Adopts a hierarchical alarm system with intelligent false alarm filtering, which reduces unnecessary alarm fatigue for medical staff while ensuring critical alerts (such as severe arrhythmia, extreme blood pressure) are highlighted for timely response.
    • Trend Data Analysis: Automatically stores days of historical parameter data, and generates intuitive trend graphs of vital signs, helping clinicians track dynamic changes in a patient's condition and adjust treatment plans accurately.
  3. Connectivity & User-Friendly Design

    • Seamless Ecosystem Integration: It connects seamlessly with Mindray's BeneVision central monitoring system, and can interface with hospital HIS/EMR systems, automatically uploading monitoring data to realize cross-department data sharing, eliminating manual recording errors.
    • Hot-swappable Design: The MPM module supports hot swapping, which means it can be replaced or upgraded without shutting down the entire patient monitor, avoiding interruption to continuous patient monitoring.
  4. Scenario Adaptability

Mindray launches differentiated versions of MPM modules (such as MPM-CC for adult critical care, MPM-NS for neonatal specialized monitoring) to adapt to different patient groups and clinical needs. It is compatible with most models of Mindray's BeneVision series bedside monitors, helping hospitals standardize equipment management and reduce maintenance and accessory costs. It also acts as a core base module that supports expanding with other specialized modules (such as capnography, cardiac output, cerebral function monitoring) to meet more complex clinical requirements.
