Standard Operating Procedures

Step Operation Instructions
1 Placement Place the handle coated with conductive paste firmly against the patient's chest, usually on the right side of the sternum (below the clavicle) and at the apex of the heart (outer side of the left nipple).
2 Energy Selection Rotate the energy selection knob on the main unit to select the desired number of joules.
3 Charging Press the yellow button on the handle. The device will emit a continuous charging beep; the beep will change when fully charged.
4 Discharging After confirming that no one is touching the bed, press the red buttons on both handles simultaneously. Both hands must be pressed simultaneously for discharge to occur.
Precautions for Use
  • Safe Discharging: During discharge, the operator and surrounding personnel must not touch the patient or bed to prevent electric shock.
  • Contact Pressure: Ensure good contact between the electrode plates and the skin, without gaps. Poor contact may result in skin burns or defibrillation failure.
